
Well known semiconductor-grade product for advance polymer production includes Semitron. They are highly developed devices to upgrade manufacturing equipments. They are mainly used in places of chemical-resistance, wear-resistance, and static electricity management. Semitron are of two highly developed types; first one is suited for test application and second one in next-generation CMP usage.
Semitron-MDS 100
It has great strength and stability. It may be helpful in environments where a great precision is must. It is used for making test sockets, fixtures and nests. Notable features include a) absorbs moisture at the rate of 0.10 percent per 24 hours. b) Gives thermal performance of 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Semitron-ESd 225
It is tan in colour and is used for making of hard disks and in handling silicon wafers.
Semitron-ESd 480
It is used for critical test fixtures. It is dimensionally very stable. It has impressive chemical resistance. And thus it is great for use in wet processing tools in which static dissipation is high. It does not undergo dielectric breakdown.
Semitron-ESd 500HR
It has low frictional propensity. It is dimensionally stable. It may be preferred where Teflon PTFE is used. It is suited for applications in which there is critical controlled bleed of static charges.
