Everyone loves to cuddle a puppy and feel the warm love emanating from the ball of fur. Adult dogs may scare the wits out of some people, but no one would find a little puppy to be intimidating. The feeling of love that a puppy generates is no different from that of an infant. It’s an opportunity to train the dog from an early age to fit your environment and lifestyle.

When you set an example of being gentle and caring for the puppy, your children will emulate you and grow up to be caring and gentle. You can be sure the times you spent together with the puppy and your children will be a part of a very precious memory that will be with them for their entire lives. You will also be able to take it for walks in and around the vicinity of your home. Don’t forget to always get ample supply of chewable toys for your puppy.
This precious puppy needs you more in the early months and you will have to allot time for that. You should avoid sending your puppy to an adoption shelter. The breed and the dog’s history will determine if it is suitable for you. You’ll know immediately what the dog’s full size is and whether that fits your living space. You do not have to be hasty in making your decision on buying a puppy.
Checking on its mom or dad would give you an idea of how the puppy will look like when fully grown up. An older dog will also love your home. It would be easier for you to breed a dog or puppy if you are aware of its breeding habits.
You can easily adjust puppies to children but older dogs may not like to be around children. You should seek expert knowledge on dog breeding before embarking on the project. You may end up paying a lot of money for young pure-bred dog. You would want to select a puppy or a dog with papers if breeding is your aim.
